The hut at Inland Lake West has been made accessible to all users of the Sunshine Coast Trail, but be aware, hikers with mobility issues do have priority. This facility, located along the popular Inland Lake Trail, is wheelchair accessible. Inland Lake became a provincial park in 1997, and PAWS is proud to have been part of those negotiations. To get to this hut, you must walk around to the west side of Inland Lake, which is an easy, flat few kilometres.
Inland Lake is a wonderful place to swim, and there are multiple private swimming spots from the trail around the lake. It is a popular spot with locals, but big enough that it never feels crowded. Don’t miss a stop here!
